– Cairo Criminal Court decided, yesterday evening, to mitigate the precautionary measures issued against journalists Hamdy al-Zaeim and Mohamed Hassan for one day, while ordering their continuation for 45 days into Case 15060/2016 Qasr al-Nil Misdemeanor.

– Cairo Criminal Court decided, yesterday evening, to reject the appeal submitted by Shady al-Ghazali Harb challenging the 45-day detention order issued against him into Case 621/2018 State Security, and accordingly upheld the continuation of his detention.

– Cairo Criminal Court decided, yesterday evening, to renew the detention of Reman al-Husseini for 45 days pending Case 817/2018 State Security.

– Cairo Criminal Court decided, yesterday evening, to reject the appeal submitted by Mohamed al-Qassas challenging the decision to detain him pending Case 977/2017 State Security, and accordingly upheld his detention for 45 days.

– Cairo Criminal Court ordered, yesterday evening, the continuation of precautionary measures against activist Amr Ali for 45 days into Case 473/2018 State Security.

– Yesterday evening, the military court sentenced, in absentia, 34 defendants to life imprisonment and 18 others to three years in prison in the case known as “Dermwas Center violence incidents”.

– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 215 defendants in the case known as “Helwan Brigades” for the December 30 hearing.
